Stoneburn

The Stoneburn vineyard was planted in the central
Wairau Valley in Marlborough in 1989. The soil is old riverbed, very
stony with underlying loamy soil producing relatively light crops
but very flavorsome fruit. The owners called the vineyard Stoneburn
to reflect their North Otago and Scottish heritage and the stoney
site.
