Côte D’Or | France
André Boisseaux was only 32 years old when, in
1941, he bought Patriarche Pére et Fils based in the heart of
Beaune. Being a very family-oriented man, André Boisseaux chose to
name his new creation in honor of both his mother and cousin who
were called Blanche and Louis Perdrier. Louis Perdrier sparkling
wines are crafted with great care, using time- honored methods and
techniques, and are now distributed worldwide. Louis Perdrier is a
high quality French Sparkling Wine ('vin mousseux'.) The grapes
follow a rigorous selection process in the region of production and
a subsequent tasting analysis at the cellars in Beaune The selected
wines are blended and, after the second fermentation, they undergo
an extended ageing on the lees in vats in order to produce a
sparkling wine with good balance and longevity.
