The historic Château Fonplégade is situated on
Saint Emilion’s famous limestone plateau, just steps from the
medieval streets and underground wine catacombs of the village of
Saint Emilion. Château Fonplégade is one of the ‘Great Growth Grand
Cru Classe’ wines from the right bank. Recognizing Fonplégade’s
world class provenance, Adams French Vineyards undertook a
significant restoration project in 2004 to renovate the Château,
upgrade the vineyards and install a state of the art winemaking
facility.
