The Celler de l’Encastell is owned by Carmen
Figuerola Juncosa and Raimon Castellvi Vigues, and although the
holdings have been in the family for some time, it wasn’t until
recently that the estate began bottling it’s own wine. In 1999, the
family created a new winery out of a centuries-old house in the
village of Porrera, even using the old well as a barrel room.
