You can find this special vineyard in the hills
of Apulia above Andria. Operated by Giuseppe Marmo and his daughter
Maria, Tenuta Cocevola was known primarily for its olive oil
production until recent years. In 2003, the Marmo family expanded
their offerings to include wine. In a short time, this father /
daughter team has produced some exceptional award winning wine.
They achieved this by simply paying attention to the wonderful
varietals present in their area of Puglia and rich cultivation of
their land. When visiting Cocevola you are immediately immersed in
the sprawling olive groves, fruit trees and vineyards. The grand
Castel del Monte looms from the hill above. The property boasts a
renovated ancient building which has been transformed into a four
star resort. However, it was the quality of their products and
their love of the land that perked our interest. The Cocevola
products speak for themselves and although young and still
developing, you taste generations of commitment to the land.
