Broadbent
Vinho Verde | Portugal
This wine is a special project made especially
for Bartholomew Broadbent. The Vinho Verde region is along the
Atlantic Coast of Northwestern Portugal. The name translates to
“green wine” because the grapes are harvested slightly under ripe to
retain crisp acidity and make wines that go perfectly with the local
seafood and the warm summers of Portugal. It is very "more-ish", an
English tasting term meaning that you want to drink more of it! In
fact, it is so light, refreshing and easy to drink, its good that it
is low in alcohol. The acidity is refreshing and the wine is great
fun. The sunflower label was painted by Alice, Bartholomew
Broadbent’s niece when she was four.
