Launched by Gerard and Marie-Claude Bonnet in
1976, the vineyard is located in a former chapel from the 16th
century on the hills of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is in this unique
setting that Gerard and Marie Claude Bonnet, now joined by their son
Eric, vinify their whole production. In order to get the best out of
the Mediterranean grape varietals, the Bonnet family has bet on
modern equipment while practicing traditional winemaking techniques.
Decisions in terms of farming are therefore made in coordination
with the variety of the soils: grapes are harvested by hand and
selected twice, first in the vineyard and again upon arrival at the
cellar on a sorting table.
